EMEE — Summary of Services and Purpose

EMEE supports secondary and post-secondary learners with tutoring, homework help, and enrichment programs to strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and prepare students for long-term educational and career success while engaging families and communities.

Core Services

  • Academic Tutoring: Individual and small-group tutoring targeted to secondary and post-secondary curricula. Focus areas include reading comprehension, writing, literary analysis, grammar, research and study skills.

  • ESOL Instruction: English for Speakers of Other Languages programs tailored to varied proficiency levels, including conversational English, academic English, writing for college, and language support for coursework.

  • Special Education Support: Customized, evidence-based instruction and accommodations for students with identified learning differences. Services include individualized learning plans, strategy instruction, executive function coaching, and collaboration with families and school teams.

  • Homework Help: On-demand and scheduled homework support to reinforce classroom learning, clarify concepts, and develop independent study habits.

  • Test Preparation: Workshops, practice sessions, and individualized coaching for standardized tests, such as PSAT, SAT, ACT, and CLT Exams.

  • College and Career Planning: Advising workshops and one-on-one guidance on college/career readiness
